Terms and Conditions

A legally binding contract between you and Salas Wellness LLC (Salas Wellness, we, they, them, us) are pleased to provide you with access and usage of our website’s articles, links, and registration, and customer portal process of our ever-changing and evidence-based services. This Agreement between you and Salas Wellness LLC governs this access so please take time to read the following house rules for a safe environment and a successful relationship between us and you:

Conditions of Usage:

By reading thus far, you agree to comply with Salas Wellness LLC terms. Please stop reading if you do not want to continue with the terms of this Agreement, now. We know, it’s wordy.

Privacy Policy:

If you wish to continue, please understand that even though our services are not required to comply with specific HIPAA compliance requirements, we do so anyway, so no HIPAA form is required. Yay. Coaching services are the only service that needs to be recorded. The Salas Wellness coach is not capable of remembering every key component during the initial or one-hour sessions and finds it easier to not only record the one-hour sessions but to play them back to provide insight, clarity, and the occasional “what did I/he/she/her/him/they/them say again”, and which of course can be reviewed and eventually dictated in the form of a follow up email which is a service provided in our coaching service. For all coaching clients, if a referring physician or therapist requires follow-up communication, a release of information will be required by the client, also a form we provide. Another Yay. Let it be known that after the coaching sessions take place, all recordings are promptly deleted once all data has been accrued by the coach and emailed to the client. It’s a trust thing. We know.

Age Restrictions:

There really isn’t an age restriction, more of an evidence-based recommendation (life-coaching-for-kids) for coaching and the other services provided by our small corporation. Salas Wellness LLC believes anyone seven or older can participate in any of our services. Between the ages of seven to seventeen, we will ask for parental control of payments, registration, getting your child to and from registered classes or the coaching sessions only, and provide your child with access to virtual components of said coaching sessions. Parents are required to attend all coaching sessions registered for and are to remain their child’s silent partner by not having the parent’s camera on during zoom sessions and sit or be behind the child at some distance but within view during in-person sessions and observe the process only. This encourages the child to answer the questions from the coach without coaxing from the parent. As with all coaching sessions, components regarding each session will be emailed to the address provided during registration. Intellectual Property:

All materials, products, and services provided by Salas Wellness LLC are the sole property of said business, its affiliates, directors, employees, suppliers, vendors or licensors. Reproduction or redistribution, either printed or shared, electronically or digitally, will not be tolerated in any way. Unfortunately, legal action will take place.

User Accounts:

As a user of this website, you will be asked to register with us and provide private information and are thus responsible for ensuring accuracy of the provided information and for maintaining the safety and security of your identifying information and all activities that occur under your account or password. If you believe possible issues have occurred with your account on this website, please inform us immediately so we may address them accordingly. We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, edit, or remove content and cancel orders at our sole discretion, for whatever reason we deem necessary for such termination. And you can ask us to terminate your account, help with your account on the customer portal option, or just email us with questions.

Applicable Law:

By using Salas Wellness LLC, you agree to the laws (of your location), without regard to principles of conflict laws, and will govern these terms and conditions or any dispute of any sort that could come between Salas Wellness LLC and you or its business partners and associates. Whew-out of breath with that one.

Disputes:

Any dispute related in any way to your usage of Salas Wellness LLC or to its services purchased from us shall be arbitrated by the state or federal court and consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts. Salas Wellness LLC is a member with the insured EMPA (Energy Medicine Professional Association) and can be contacted if so desired at [email protected]. Really, if you have problems with anything we’ve done/not done, please contact us first.

Indemnification:

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you indemnify Salas Wellness LLC and its affiliates and hold Salas Wellness LLC harmless against legal claims and demands that may arise from your usage or misusage of our services. We reserve the right to select our own legal counsel. And so do you, but again, if you have problems with anything we’ve done/not done, please contact us first.

Limitation on Liability:

Salas Wellness LLC is not liable for any damage(s) that may occur as the result of your misuse. They reserve the right to edit, modify, or change this Agreement at any time. We shall let our users know of these changes through electronic mail. This Agreement is an understanding between Salas Wellness LLC and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website. If we feel that you’ve misrepresented us, then we have the right to shut that down with a really bad emoji and remove your participation and ban you with another bad emoji.

Specificity:

All participants in any service provided by Salas Wellness LLC should understand this is not a medical or mental institution, nor a facility that prescribes, recommends, or sells pharmaceuticals of any type. Because off-site class location facilities vary, those said locations are not responsible for the provision of restrooms, water fountains, lockers, or any place to keep your belongings. For most of our classes, all participants will be informed before the beginning of certain class(es) to:

(1) Please use the restroom before specific classes begin due to relaxation (meditations, sound healing, healings) which can cause urinary or bowel urgency to occur. Maybe bring some wet wipes or another pair of underwear if you know for a fact that the urgency is really urgent.

(2) not wear jewelry, watches, devices that have scheduled alerts (FitBit, etc.) and be encouraged to leave valuables at home. Some folks like to wear crystallized jewelry during some classes-that’s fine, but please be kind enough to provide others with the name, price, and location of where you bought it, ‘cause it happens-ya’ know?

(3) remove or turn off their hearing assistance/aids due to fluctuations of sound (sound healings) which may interfere with said devices and cause the device to respond with piercingly loud rebounding sound. We’ve seen this happen-it’s devastatingly loud and hurts.

(4) bring their own pillow, blanket, or chair if needed for comfort either sitting up or laying down for meditation, healing, or sound healing classes.

(5) bring a water bottle for any class offered. Water actually helps with moving energy in many of the classes we offer. So have that water.

(6) if you’re pregnant, think you’re pregnant, trying to pregnant, or breastfeeding, let us know. Some classes require a more delicate approach for future mamas or current lactating mamas.

(7) okay, if you’ve had cancer, have cancer, or are receiving treatments or medications of any kind for any type of cancer, please let us know. Again, some classes require a more delicate approach for this really horrible disease. We want to make sure you’re taken care of delicately.

(8) oh, we’re not other language speakers. Okay, yes, maybe a few bad words, but, no, really, we only speak English.
