Coaching ($125)

What is this Coaching stuff anyways?

Coaching, whether focused on lifestyle, mental health, relationships, nutrition, health, or spirituality, aims to empower individuals to create sustainable changes and prioritize their well-being in a supportive, non-judgmental setting.

As a certified Wellcoaches Lifestyle Coach, I draw on specialized education and personal experiences to help you identify your development goals and enhance self-awareness and self-improvement. Our goal is to understand your current situation while guiding you toward your vision for the future, making those aspirations realistic and sustainable.

Coaching is designed to complement, not replace, your existing medical or mental health treatments, all for your personal growth and betterment.

When booking for coaching with Salas Wellness, you’ll receive an email with attachments to complete (5) five days before your first session. The required forms include a health and well-being profile (encourage you to keep a copy for yourself), and Terms and Conditions. Email your completed paperwork to us at [email protected].

What to Expect

At Salas Wellness, we recognize the significance of a 66-day timeframe for habit change, as research suggests that this duration is typically required for a new behavior to become automatic. This period facilitates consistent practice, allows for adaptation to challenges, and helps solidify new behaviors into lasting habits.

Initial Appointment:

We invite you to schedule a two-hour initial consultation with your coach from Salas Wellness. During this session, we will review your health profile and discuss your goals.

Following the initial meeting, you will engage in eight one-hour coaching sessions with your lifestyle coach. Throughout this process, you will receive weekly summaries and occasional motivational text messages to support your progress.

Pricing Structure:

– The initial two-hour appointment with one goal is offered at $125.

– Each of the subsequent one-hour sessions with one goal is priced at $125.

– For each additional goal, there is a fee of $25.

For example:

– Initial appointment with one goal: $125

Subsequent sessions with one goal (2nd to 8th sessions): $125 each

– Subsequent session with two goals (2nd to 8th sessions): $150 each

Duration Rationale:

The nine-week program is designed to align with the average timeframe of approximately 66 days (or 9.1 weeks) required to form a habit, although individual experiences may vary based on the complexity of the behavior changes.

  • Consistency Development: The nine weeks allow for the development of strong neural pathways linked to your intended behaviors.
  • Adaptation and Adjustment: This timeframe provides opportunities to tailor new behaviors to your lifestyle, enabling you to overcome challenges and integrate them into daily routines.
  • Ongoing Evaluation: During your ninth session, we will assess the impact of your new habits and make any necessary adjustments to support long-term maintenance. We will also determine if additional sessions are needed.

It is important to note that habit formation varies amongst individuals; simpler habits may take less time, while multiple behaviors may require additional time to solidify. Consistent practice is crucial for establishing new habits, and the support of a coach enhances the likelihood of success.

Group Coaching:

We provide group coaching sessions (3-6 participants) that focus on specific topics, which are beneficial for companies and worksites. For group discounts, please contact us directly.

Couples Coaching:

We also offer couples coaching, limited to two participants per session. The pricing is discounted to $125 for the first participant and $75 for the second, totaling $200 per session. The nine-session framework applies to both individuals. Couples must attend all sessions. For more information, please reach out with any questions.

Note: Lifestyle coaches are not therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, nor psychologists and do not diagnose, treat, nor prescribe medications. If further help is needed, it will be recommended.

Topics are numerous with a coach on board. You name it, we can cover it. If not, we can refer you to someone who is on board too.

Privacy

Salas Wellness values your privacy and maintains strict confidentiality. Although lifestyle coaches are NOT bound by HIPAA laws, we follow similar practices. Zoom sessions are recorded for proper notes and review and then promptly deleted afterwards. When Salas Wellness conducts individual or group coaching, we jot down important key words brought up during the sessions. We keep paper records for seven years and share session details with physicians or therapists only with your explicit written consent. This ensures your privacy is protected and information is shared only as directed for coordinated care.

Healings ($65)


At Salas Wellness, we provide a range of one-hour alternative healing methods to meet diverse needs, ailments, and preferences. Healing options include energetic Qi (chi) healing, mantras, prayers, chanting, and silence. All with instructions and Q & A and a time to reflect if you’d like. It’s helpful to stay receptive for at least 24 hours afterwards as the healing process continues to heal. Please inform Salas Wellness if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, menstruating, or had/have cancer, as these conditions require a gentler approach and different protocols. Energy healings of any type are intended to complement, not replace, your current medical or mental treatments.

Active participation is encouraged so, let us know if a modality is or isn’t working for you or if you’d like to try something different. While individual sessions are preferred, group options are also available. Aromas are utilized during some of our in person classes. If you are not able to withstand the smell of specific scents, please let us know ahead of time. We just want you to be comfortable.

Some energy healings require specific parameters and barriers. Please read each requirement carefully. This is always for the benefit of the client.

Reiki:

Reiki is a Japanese hands-on technique designed to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and activate the body’s natural healing processes. It helps clear blockages and smooth out disruptions in the flow of physical, mental, and energy bodies caused by negative thoughts and feelings. At Salas Wellness, our Level 3 attuned Reiki Master provides.

Pranic Healing:

This is a no-touch modality that enhances well-being for both client and healer. Using hygienic practices and sometimes crystal quartz, this technique reduces anxiety and can evoke powerful emotional responses, such as tears of joy. It involves scanning, cleansing, and energizing your energy or life-force to help your body remember and stabilize its natural healing abilities. Most people sit during the session. There is a monthly site for you to attend in El Paso, Texas’ Unity Church every 1st Saturday of the month.

Tapping:

Based on Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT), combines acupressure stimulation and modern psychology to address unresolved issues. By identifying specific problems, we guide you through self-tapping on 9 key points to achieve a more relaxed mindset. This technique is effective for anxiety, jumpiness, ADD, headaches, confidence, PTSD, overall stress, and sooooo much more.

Crystals:

Crystal Healings involve using gemstones, crystals, or minerals placed on specific areas (such as chakras or meridians) or held in your hand. This process relies on the genuine intention of both the healer and the client to facilitate healing and balance.

Sound Healings

Come experience a variety of tones and vibrations with a sound bath, whether at home or at work. Using metal and crystal bowls, drums, chimes, humming, singing, and a gong or two, sound therapy can reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and enhance focus and clarity. Emerging research indicates it may also lower stress hormones, improve mood, and alleviate pain. You can choose to sit or lie down during the session. For group sessions, supplies will be provided. If you have hearing aids, pregnant, or metal medical implants, please inform us beforehand.

Meditation ($40)

Salas Wellness offers a variety of one-hour meditation classes designed for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Each session includes a Q&A segment and an opportunity for participants to share reflections, enhancing the group experience.

Why one hour, you ask? Explanation of the technique takes time. And silence is always a part of every meditation. Be prepared to be quiet. It’s important to note that these meditations are intended to complement, not replace, existing medical or mental health treatments.

Participants can choose to stand, sit in a chair or cushion, or lie down on a yoga mat, and are encouraged to bring a blanket for comfort. Staying hydrated is advised, and aromatic elements are used during in-person classes; individuals sensitive to certain scents should inform us in advance.

Salas Wellness recognizes that meditation can take many forms, as diverse as the cups in the world—each session aims to fill your unique cup with suitable practices. When booking your appointment, please indicate which type(s) you would like to approach.

Ho’oponopono: An ancient Hawaiian practice aimed at solving problems and restoring harmony. Includes instruction and explanation of technique.
